Study Abroad in England Imperial College London

NTNU Office of International Affairs held the “Study Abroad in England Imperial College London- Introduction Meeting” on the 14th of March. Students from Department of Management, Department of Health Education, Department of Human Development and Family Studies, and Department of English participated in the introduction meeting. Even some freshman came to arrange their future plan.

In the world university ranking, England Imperial College London was the 6th place in business and engineering field. It was the 3rd best university in England. It combined the features of teaching, academic researching, and enterprise cooperation. 1000 students were from more than 75 countries around the world. Only 1% of students were from Taiwan currently.

The head of Department of Marketing and Recruitment Professor Sharnoa Walker came to NTNU personally to share the information of studying in Imperial College London. She mentioned that a lot of NTNU graduated students had applied to study in Imperial College London. She felt students from NTNU were high quality and hardworking; therefore, she came personally to recruit more outstanding students.

Imperial College London cooperated with Coca Cola Company. Students had a chance to combine the theory they learned in class to practical works. Beside the professional study, the students’ activities were very active.

Professor Sharnoa Walker indicated that the summer program was a good chance for students to see if they were suitable for studying in Imperial College London. Imperial College London would provide scholarship for outstanding students. She suggested students to apply for it as soon as possible.
