NTNU unveils high-end instrument center

National Taiwan Normal University President Chang Kuo-en (張國恩) presented today the outcome of the school's investments with research funds -- the high-end instrument center, featuring a new 600MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) machine.

"This further boosts our research capabilities," Chang said during the unveiling ceremony. The new inter-school center houses high-precision instruments that were previously maintained separately by respective departments and colleges. By bringing the instruments together, the school can offer easier access while lowering the burden of maintenence.

Current equipment include a liquid NMR, spectral confocal microscope, and a living cell monitoring system.
