Graduate School of Venture Business from Hoseo Uni Visited NTNU

The visiting group from Graduate School of Venture Business, Hoseo University came to NTNU on June 30th, led by Dr. In-Oh Jeon. They visited the Research Center for Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship and signed the MOU. 
 
Established in 1978, Hoseo University is a private higher education institution located in the large town of Asan, South Chungcheong. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Education, Korea, Hoseo University is a very large coeducational higher education institution. Hoseo University offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. Hoseo University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
 
This time, fauculties from Hoseo University signed a MOU with the Research Center for Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Director of General Affairs Office, Chiou Haw Jen and the Dean of the College of Management, Frank Yin showed up at the ceremony and greeted the guests from Korea. 
Professor Dong Tse-ping from the College of Management said that in respond to the second wave of start-ups at 2010, the research center was set up. The fields of research include cultural and creative industry, digital media, mobile business, internet and cloud-based technology, big data, 3D print and AR/VR. It’s hoped that with the base of the College of Management, the center can gather all kinds of professional skills from humanities, arts, music, and education and so on, to become the important research and study in Asia Pacific.
For the past two years, the research center has excellent performance in academic and in the market. For example, the research center has worked with Chinese Department, The Department of Graphic Arts and Communication and the Department of Design.
