Christmas Party at MTC

Upon the arrival of Christmas, MTC has prepared a set of celebration events for foreign students that come to Taiwan to study. In the morning of December 23rd, small gifts were available and the most expected Christmas singing contest was held. Students, faculties and teachers all enjoyed a happy evening. 
The event organizer Lu said that the event is to gather students far away from home experience Christmas in Taiwan and feel the hospitality of Taiwanese people. The hosts are alumni from MTC, the first part was the band from MTC faculties and Chinese singing contest, the second part is filled with performances by MTC students. Many friends and families of MTC students came to watch the show and attend the lucky draw. 
In the final of singing contest, 10 finalists all tried their best to sing the Chinese song with clear pronunciation and passion. The performances from MTC students are very eye catching. From rock music, diabolo tricks and various dances, the shows received positive feedback from the audience.
The first prize winner comes from Vietnam, who combines two songs with the same title “Ai Ni” by Kimberly Chen and Cyndi Wang. She was very happy about the result because she has joined several singing contests and this is her first championship. 
One of the volunteer from Indonesia said that he liked number six the most because of the meaning of the song. He dressed as Santa Claus in the morning and distributed the gifts. This is was his first time being a Santa, and he was happy seeing the students are surprised by the little gifts.
