NTNU Ranked 176-200 in 2018 THE World University Rankings for Arts and Humanities

Times Higher Education has announced the latest World University Rankings 2018 by subject: arts and humanities. Only two universities in Taiwan made to the list of top 400 universities. National Taiwan Normal University is ranked 176-200 while National Taiwan University is ranked 126-150. 
 
The 2018 Times Higher Education World University Rankings’ table for arts and humanities subjects employs the same rigorous and balanced range of 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields. It highlights the universities that are leading across art, performing arts, languages, history, philosophy, theology, architecture and archaeology subjects. This year, there are 400 universities from 77 countries on the list whereas there were only 100 schools last year. 
Earlier this year, NTNU was ranked in 127th in art and humanity in QS Rankings. This year, NTNU made its debut on Times Higher Education in 176-200. The overall score is 34.9. The score of industry income is highest, 82.9, the one for International Outlook is 47.9, the one for research is 33.5, the one for teaching is 28.8 and the score of citations is 25.3.
