General Manager Cooperate Communication & Promotion Tan Kim Chuan invited Vice President Frank Y-H Ying and Chairman of NTNU Alumni Association of Malaysia and Selangor Liong Ching Lan for a visit to Sin Chew Daily. Vice President Ying said that now NTNU students are no longer only for teacher training and people should have the knowledge that NTNU students and alumni can do more then being a teacher. NTNU is also keen on finding more opportunities for our graduates.

Now we have about 240,000 students in NTNU, 8,000 of which are international students, mostly from Malaysia, Korea, Vietnam and America. One of the purposes of this visit to Malaysia is to understand how our alumni are doing in Malaysia.
