NTNU Tops at Humanities and Business University in Taiwan

 
The "Best University in Taiwan ranking" was announced by GV magazine on July 1st. NTNU ranked the first in number of Chinese paper, average number of Chinese paper published by full-time teachers and the number TCI (Taiwan Citation Index Humanities and Social Sciences) papers. NTNU is ranked the first in the category of humanities and business.  Executive Vice President Sung Yao Ting received the award from Charles Kao, the founder of GV Magazine. This is the fourth ranking by GV Magazine and Elsevier, a world known publisher of papers. In addition to the existing 35 indexes like "social impact", "academic achievement", "teaching performance", "internationalization" and "education and industry income", "financial condition" has been added  this year. 97 universities are included in the ranking. These universities have over 3000 students and over 150 assistant professors.  
 
Since 2018, the rankings are shown in three categories for a more precise result. According to the Ministry of Education, there are medical university, humanities and business and general university. Executive Vice President Sung Yao Ting said that NTNU is honored to be the top at humanities and business once again. The responsibility of NTNU is high and we will continue to educate the public. NTNU is ranked the 6th in teaching, 8th in academic achievement and 8th in education and industry income.
