Learning What Customers Really Want and Continuing to Innovate Will Lead to Success, Kiddie's Paradise Inc. President Says

<p>By Kevin Tang<br /> Campus Reporter</p> <p>Wendy Wu (吳文鶯), prominent child educational equipment manufacturer, encouraged National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) students to achieve their future success by combining customers&rsquo; needs and their own characteristics or styles during her speech at Cheng 101 today.</p> <p>&quot;Understanding yourself and others would always be the key to success in all fields,&rdquo; she said.</p> <p>Wu, invited by the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, made her remarks in front of 200 students.&nbsp; She encouraged students to take good advantage of all kinds of resources on the campus that they can access during the learning process so they will come up with more creative and fresh ideas in the future.</p> <p>&quot;Your school is like a museum.&nbsp; I would encourage you to explore every corner here,&rdquo; she said.</p> <p>Wu is the president for the Kiddie&rsquo;s Paradise Inc., which was established in 1987.&nbsp; This company created the brand name &ldquo;Weplay&rdquo; for manufacturing child educational equipment in 1999 and &ldquo;Weplay&rdquo; has become one of the leading brand names in its field this year.&nbsp; &ldquo;Weplay&rdquo; products were also recognized by various international design awards such as the German Red Dot Design Award and the Japanese G-Mark Award.</p> <p>Wu said that continuous innovation and related analysis on their products and customers would be the secrets for the company&rsquo;s reputation today.</p> <p>She said that before &ldquo;Weplay&rdquo; creates a new product, a detail analysis and dimensions on the subject children, in terms of mental and physical, would always be done in advance so the company will always come up with the best of its kind in the market.</p>
