NTNU Nie Ping-Jie Won Open Tournament in Swimming 800M Freestyle
On the last day of NIAG (National Intercollegiate Athletic Game), the open tournament in 800-meter freestyle, woman’s division was held. It was a close combat between Nie Ping-Jie from NTNU on the fifth lane and Tang Hao-Chen from Taipei Municipal University of Education on the fourth lane, that were way ahead of other contestants in the game. Tang would be her biggest opponent, remarked Nie before the start of the match. The two swimmers who had known each other since junior high schools congratulated each other at the end of the water lanes.
