Students Volunteer Entered Damaged Areas from the 88 Flood
The first group of NTNU student volunteers set of on August 18th to Xinxing Junior High School in Kaohsiung City to help rebuild this campus damaged by the typhoon and the flood. Led by Wang Meng-Gang, deputy dean of student affairs, and Nian Fei-Bao, director military instructor, 9 BA students and 1 MA student have prepared their personal belongings for the voluntary work they had promised to undertake. “I just want to do what I can for those in the south who are experiencing so much suffering,” said Chen Ting-Yu from the Department of Educational Psychology & Counselling.
