Minister of Foreign Affairs Yang Jing-Tian Talks About Diplomatic Policies and Outlook
A seminar organized by the Office of General Education invited Yang Jing-Tian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to talk about Taiwan’s diplomatic policies and outlook, and to analyze international circumstances from the viewpoint of “flexible diplomacy” on November 4th. Furthermore, Yang will broaden the horizons for students aspiring to go into diplomacy with his rich experiences as a diplomat. He stressed that foreign relation is about “looking at the world with the viewpoint of Taiwan, and to look at Taiwan with the viewpoint of the world.” True understanding of the needs of other countries is the key to negotiation.
