Visual Dialogue between Li Wen-Qian, 72, and Zen Ting-Yu, 26
As the second exhibition in the Quest Artist Series, 72 years old oil painter Li Wen Qian and 26 years old colour calligraphy painter Zen Ting-Yu had a joint exhibition. Li’s multi-media works have a strong sense of calligraphy, while Zen’s colour calligraphy paintings have a strong resemblance to western style painting. The contrast made the exhibition an interesting visual dialogue between the two artists. Li has been living in France for over 4 decades. He follows only what his heart desires. Zen is a candidate for PhD in NTNU. His artistic works emphasis on outward thinking about life.
