The new upcoming information center director Chen Po-lin mostly focused on teaching and researching and didn’t have much administrative experience, but he hoped to give services to NTNU through this chance.
NTNU had great performance in the Network University’s place announced by Spain every January and July. But recently, with more and more universities compete in this statistic; the improvement of NTNU was relatively slow. Therefore the principal Chang hoped the assistance in the information center could speed up promoting NTNU place. Besides, director Chen was planning a homepage competition for different unit in school. He hoped to promote the quality of NTNU Internet through this competition. He indicated that he would inherit the basic the former director left and improved it.
