NTNU Spiderman Chen Shih-Huang Discovered 15 New Species of Spider
NTNU life science professor Chen Shih-Huang spent year writing the book of spider. Altogether had discovered 55 species hadn’t been recorded. Contained 1 Taiwan new record family, 15 new species and 40 Taiwan new record species. Chen Shih-Huang said that due to most of people in Taiwan regarded spider as a poisonous insect, the acquisition was not easy. Recently, many scientists did the research of using spider web to manufacture armored clothing and surgical operation materials. Taiwan once absented in the world spider educational. NTNU expected through the composition of this book, could quickly catch up with the international level.
