Professor Tu Ming-chang from the Department of Life Science Opened the Mysterious Mask of the Water Snake

NTNU cooperated with Taiwan Public Television. The “master of snake” Tu Ming-chang and the Public TV team went straight forward to Lanyu, risk entering the Lanyu water snake cave under the cliff 30 meter, and took the photo of the water snake’s eggs for the first time. Professor Tu indicated that the water snakes in Lanyu drank the fresh water, which was different from the textbook. This was an international significant discovery and had already been posed on the international periodical. In addition, the water snakes in Lanyu were weak to attack. So long as taking good care of the environment and water snakes, Taiwan would be the most popular place to dive and see the water snakes.
