Mark Twain and China Humorous Style Changed the Stereotype

American critical realism literature foundation master passed away the hundredth anniversary. NTNU library held the special lecture and short drama on May 12th, invited Professor Lin Hsiu-ling leaded the audiences crossed the time and space, analyzed the intimate relationship between Mark Twain and China, and felt the humor world under Mark Twain’s pen through the short drama.  We could find that Mark Twain liked to defend against injustice in his articles. He cared about fairness, justice, and truth. He stood for the black slave in his early year. When Chinese was suppressed in 19 century, he wrote down a lot of unfair labor plays with his pen, and left many moving works.
