NTNU Art Department Retired Professor Wang Hsiu-shiung: The Teacher of Teachers
An academic seminar was held on the Teacher’s day at NTNU. The famous scholars in and out the nation gathered together to pay the tribute to Professor Wang for his contribution to Taiwan art education and his achievement in art researching and teaching. Professor Wang appreciated the government expense system in the past for the poor students like him could go to the college. He went to Japan after graduated for PhD program and was most affected by the loyalty and responsibility Japanese had toward their work. He requested himself with the same standard after returning home. Professor Wang also reached 80 this year, he was happy to see his students had better achievement than him.
