President Ma Congratulated Principal Liu Chen a Hundredth Birthday in Advanced
“Principal Liu Chen a Hundredth Birthday Celebration Exhibition” was going to hold on October 16th. President Ma Ying-chiu visited Liu Chen at his living place on October 9th. President Ma salute Principal Liu’s birthday with an inscribed tablet and the longevity wine in advanced.
Although Principal had some difficulties in speaking, he kept waving his hands to express his appreciation to the President. President Ma communicated with Principal Liu with pen and paper. He wrote down, “Principal Liu not only take care of teachers but also students, is the father of education in Taiwan.” Principal Liu was the first principal in NTNU.
