NTNU 5 Participants in 2010 Cross Strait Interpreting Competition of Chinese and English
2010 Cross Strait Interpreting Competition of Chinese and English Taiwan area preliminary game was held on October 24th. The participants were outstanding interpreting talented person. Six out of twenty from the preliminary game could represent Taiwan to participate in the final game in November. The literary academy, graduate institute of translation and interpretation, and the English department held the competition together.
The topic of the competition was “Development of the human race and society change”. The participants drew the topic ten minutes in advanced. The issue included education, poverty, and gender. The competition was very intense. Five students from the graduate institute of translation and interpretation would represent Taiwan and participate in the final game in November.
