21 Little Sun Yat-Sen Celebrate the Birthday of the Father
21 elementary school students from Taipei city and county dressed up as the little Sun Yat-Sen, leaded by NTNU Lin An-Pang and Taipei county Hakka affairs Wu Ko-yi, sang the Hakka version Happy Birthday for the father of Republic of China Sun Yat-Sen to celebrate his 144-year-old birthday.
“8 Hour Open Your Mouth and Speak Hakka” was held by NTNU, Taipei county development association, and Council for Hakka Affairs. The activity also let the people know that the Father was a Hakka. One of the children’s parents indicated that the activity was meaningful and lively, and made her kid experience the thrifty spirit of Hakka. The activity ended with the whole participants singing a Hakka song.
