6th IRATDE Biennial Conference held by the Dept. of Special Education
The International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE) is a professional organization of scientists working in the fields of talent development, creativity, excellence, and innovation. NTNU was entrusted to hold the Biennial Conference of IRATDE at Howard Civil Service International House from April 12th to April 16th. Around 500 experts from 24 countries including Middle East, Europe, Americas and Oceania joined together for this event.2019.0419
National longitudinal Study of Child Development and Care Assisted by NTNU
Children, our next generation, is the hope of our country. The well-being and health of children is an important indicator of the prosperity of a country. They grew at a very high speed when they are in infancy. It's a key phase affecting their future development. The government in many countries have invested in building a longitudinal database for child. Hence, the Ministry of Science and Technology started to assist the Department of Human Development and Family Studies with the plan of building National longitudinal Study of Child Development and Care in August, 2014 and the data collection started in March of 2016.2019.0416
New Experience for Pre-service Teachers in Chinese Taipei School in Ho Chi Minh City
Starting from 2019, NTNU has be working with 7 Oversea Taiwan Schools. We send four pre-service teachers abroad for a visit every year to each school. This year, Prof. Chern Chiou Lan from the English Department is the moderator of the oversea visit project to Chinese Taipei School in Ho Chi Minh City. Four students from different departments went to the Chinese Taipei School in March for a two week visit.2019.0416
NTNU Chinese E-learning Platform Debuts at Smart City Summit & Expo
Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE) was held from March 26th to 29th at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. As artificial intelligence technology develops, the applications begin to play a key role in government delivery of citizen services. Smart cities are entering to a new phase of Smart City 2.0 by integrating AI as well as IoT technologies into services.2019.0415
