2025 Summer Session to Offer Expanded Courses and Revised Policies

NTNU’s 2025 Summer Session will offer approximately 120 courses, including 40 taught in English (EMI). Credit fees are waived for most day-division students, and course enrollment thresholds have been adjusted to increase availability. Preliminary course selection runs from May 22 to May 26.

“Lion Leap Project” Launched: A Significant Step in Taiwan-Vietnam Collaboration to Cultivate Global AI and Semiconductor Talent

To deepen international academic exchange and talent cultivation, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), Can Tho University (CTU), and the Chen-Yung Memorial Foundation (CYMF) held a signing ceremony on May 20 to officially launch the Lion Leap Project: Taiwan-Vietnam Faculty and Student Collaboration. This marks a significant commitment from the universities and the foundation to foster international collaboration. Class of 2025 Urged to Step Into the Arena at Commencement

At NTNU’s 2024 commencement, Academia Sinica President James C. Liao called on over 4,000 graduates to stop spectating and start leading. “What AI can’t do, you can,” he said, encouraging students to embrace effort, resilience, and the courage to face an unpredictable world.
