NTNU Led UAAT Delegation to Kyushu to Strengthen Academic Ties between Taiwan and Japan

From December 17th to 21st 2024, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) Executive Vice President Kwun-Min Chen led a University Academic Alliance in Taiwan (UAAT) delegation comprised of representatives from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), National Chengchi University (NCCU), and National Chung-Hsing University (NCHU), to visit three Kyushu, Okinawa Open University Alliance (KOOU) universities in Japan, namely: Kumamoto University, Saga University, and Kagoshima University. The aim of this visit is to promote cooperation between the UAAT-KOOU through expanding bilateral international mobility, encouraging faculty and student exchange visits, and industry-academia ties, to further deepen Taiwan-Japan academic cooperation.

From Smart Campuses to Maker Spaces: Insights from Korea

Executive Vice President Kwun-Min Chen led an NTNU delegation to South Korea to strengthen ties with Pukyong National University and Pusan National University. The visit, which focused on exchanging administrative insights and exploring campus innovations, built on groundwork laid earlier in August, when President Cheng-Chih Wu’s delegation formalized academic collaboration through memorandums of understanding and student exchange agreements.

Japan Visit Strengthens Partnership in Sports Education

Dean Ho-Sen Wang of NTNU's College of Sport and Recreation led a delegation to Japan from December 4 to 7, to strengthen ties with sister schools and explore new partnerships. The delegation visited Chukyo University, Mukogawa Women’s University, and Nihon University, while also meeting with Toyo University to discuss potential collaborations. Over four days, Dean Wang, Director Li-Jung Lin, and Professor Po-Hsiu Lin participated in discussions, evaluated exchange programs, toured sports facilities, and laid the groundwork for future initiatives.

On December 3, the College of Management at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) warmly welcomed a delegation from the University of Lille, France. The delegation included Prof. Nil Toulouse, Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Pascal Grandin, Dean of the College of Management, and Ms. Arielle Meunier, International Exchange Coordinator.
