Best Practice Models for Innovative STEM-PLUS Education for Teacher Professionals Development at NTNU

The Best Practice Models for Innovative STEM-PLUS Education for Teacher Professionals Development workshop started in Gongguan campus on May 22nd. The 3 day workshop was proposed by Prof. Chiu Mei Hung and this is the first science education project being sponsored by APEC. Nearly 100 scholars and professionals attended the workshop and shared their experience on creativity.

UCLA-NTNU Taiwan Studies Initiative Conference in Taiwan Attracts Scholars All Over the World

The Initiative Conference, co-organized by National Taiwan Normal University and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), was held at UCLA from April 12 to 13. The theme of the conference was "Sinophone Studies:Interdisciplinary Perspectives and Critical Reflections" During the two-day conference, a total of 48 scholars from Taiwan, the United States, Germany, France, Australia, Italy, South Korea, Vietnam and Hong Kong published papers. More than 100 academics attended the conference, making it a major event for Chinese language studies.

6th IRATDE Biennial Conference held by the Dept. of Special Education

The International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE) is a professional organization of scientists working in the fields of talent development, creativity, excellence, and innovation. NTNU was entrusted to hold the Biennial Conference of IRATDE at Howard Civil Service International House from April 12th to April 16th. Around 500 experts from 24 countries including Middle East, Europe, Americas and Oceania joined together for this event.

College of Technology and Engineering Visited Tokyo Institute of Technology

For the cooperation and communication between the industry and academic institutes in Taiwan and Japan, President Wu Cheng Chih led a group of teacher and students from the College of Technology and Engineering to attend the Japan-Taiwan International Engineering Forum from February 27th to March 1st.

NTNU to host the 2021 Asia-Pacific International Conference on Technology Education

Asia-Pacific International Conference on Technology Education, ICTE, is the premier forum for the presentation of new trends, advances and research results in the fields of Education & Technology. It brings together leading educators, Software developers, scientists, researchers, school principals, Education Administrators, Student Councilors, PhD students & Master Students from around the world. The members comes from Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and the US. The charter of ICTE was signed in Taiwan in 1997 and the 11th conference was held in Korea in January 2019.
