NTNU and Kyushu University’s Collaboration Development Fund – 7 professors awarded research grants

National Taiwan Normal University and Kyushu University, NTNU's sister school and strategic partner, established the Collaboration Development Fund in 2019 to strengthen collaborative efforts between the two schools in terms of academic research and curriculum implementation. Due to the positive response from the inaugural run of the program, the schools conducted another call for proposals for the Collaboration Development Fund in 2020 and received 15 submissions, which were reviewed by a panel comprising representatives from both schools. After the review, a total of 7 projects were selected to receive the research grant.

Announcement on the Adjustment to Class Formats in NTNU

As a response to the pandemic and part of our efforts to minimize the congregation of people, resolutions have been passed in the March 18 and April 8 Academic and Executive Leadership Meetings stating that all courses with 60 or more enrolled students will switch to online instruction until the end of the semester. Since there had been confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NTNU, it was announced on April 3 that all classes will be held online from April 6 to April 17.

Karate Athlete Wen Tzu Yun qualifies for Tokyo 2020

The first finalists of Tokyo Olympics 2020 of karate is announced on the website on World karate Federation on March 19th. Wen Tzu Yun, from the Department of Physical Education became the first Taiwanese karate athlete to be on the Olympics. Not only achieved her dream but also wrote history, Wen was truly happy that she did it.
