Lei Chien Ying Won a Gold at 2019 Archery World Cup with Teammates

Lei Chien Ying, an athlete at the Department of Athletic Performance and teammate Tan Ya Ting, Peng Chia Mao defeated the Mexican by 5:1 and won the gold of the recurve women's team at Archery World Cup. This is a good start for the World Archery Championship in June and possibly the ticket for 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Wei Chun Heng Grabbed Gold at Archery World Cup in Men's Recurve Team

In the 2019 Hyundai Archery World Cup Stage II, Wei Chun Heng, a student of the Department of Athletic Performance worked with his teammate at Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games, beat Turkey, 5-1. The men’s recurve team won the gold medal and the women’s recurve team brought back bronze medal.

Chang Ching Hui Won Silver in International Badminton Championships

Chang Ching Hui, a master student at the Department of Athletic Performance and her partner Yang Ching Tun won a silver at women’s double in the 54 Portuguese International Championships 2019. Chair Yu Chin Ying of the Department of Athletic Performance was glad that the Chang had a great game and brought back the medal.

Hsieh Ya Jen Won Silver at FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour

Taiwanese Beach Volleyball player Hsieh Ya Jen and Wang Jin Ru had a good showing during the men’s final in Vizag Open India of FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.

Wu Chia Ying Got Silver at World Cup shooting competition, entering Tokyo Olympics

Taiwanese sport shooter Wu Chia Ying, also a master student at the Department of Athletic Performance NTNU, came to 2nd with a total score of 238.4 points at the World Cup shooting competition in New Delhi India on February 26th. This enables her to join the Tokyo Olympics 2020. At the beginning of February, Wu's cornea was hurt due to her physical condition. It was a blessing that she recovered before the game. 78 athletes joined the competition. Wu successfully came to the second round with 582 points. In the final game, she first ranked 4th with 98.2 points but gradually she climbed up to the second. The champion is Veronika Major with 245.1 points.
