2009 International Symposium on East Asia Regional Development

The Department of East Asian Culture and Development, NTNU and Taiwan Foundation for Democracy co-hosted the 2009 International Symposium on East Asia Regional Development on December 3rd at the 509 conference room, Union Building. Approximately 30 scholars from Taiwan, the UK, US, Japan and Korea came together to share their opinions on the current status of democracy and human rights in Taiwan.

Wenhui Plaza Opens with Taipei City Special Award on Urban Scenery

After completing the construction work for shops and the post office, Wenhui Plaza officially opened on December 3rd. The renovation work won the Taipei city Special Award on Urban Scenery.

Singaporean Minister of Education Visits NTNU

Led by the Minister of Education He Ping, a team of 9 administrative superintendents from Singapore’s Ministry of Education paid a visit to NTNU learn about the cultivation of future teachers, and to discuss how to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
