With the continuing social and economic changes in the world today, the needs of the public for sport, leisure, tourism and hospitality are becoming more and more significant. As a result, sport and leisure services are rapidly developing. Moreover, these services play a major role in the sustainable development of Taiwan´s economy.

　　To keep up with the current economic trends, as well as university policies, the Graduate Institute of Sports and Leisure Management and the Graduate Institute of Hospitality Management have combined to become the Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality Management since 2012. By integrating existing resources and specialized faculty members, the newly formed graduate institute will work toward producing highly skilled professionals in the fields of sport, leisure and hospitality management. Through diverse, international and specialized curriculum design, we hope to breathe new life into the sport, leisure and hospitality industries in Taiwan.
