First solo Performance of Takagi Makoto in Taiwan at NTNU

Takagi Makoto was born in Kanagawa ken. He has learned piano since little and started guitar at the age of 13. He studied in Musashino Academia Musicae. In 1982, he entered the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid in Spain and studied with Jorge Ariza. After graduation with outstanding performance and received the advanced diploma of guitar playing.

Professor Wu Cheng Chih Elected to be the 14th President of NTNU

After four months of recommendation process, interviews, public hearings and final assessment, the Presidential Election Committee has finally decide the next president of NTNU. Vice President Wu Cheng Chih, from the Graduate Institute of Information and Computer Education was elected as the new President of NTNU. The term of office is expected to start in April 22nd for four years.

International Wetland Experts at Wetland Camp Met Future Talents

The "Symbolic Ark2.0: Taiwan Research Camp", organized by the Construction and Planning Agency of the Ministry of the Interior, was held in NTNU on October 16th. Prof. Fang Wei Ta from the Graduate Insitute of Environmental Education invited five representatives and experts from International convention centers of wetlands to give talks to NTNU students to promote the talent of wetland in Taiwan.

Sharing from Pre-service Teachers about Oversea Internship

In recent years, NTNU has worked hard on training International pre-service teachers. In the afternoon of October 13th, the Office of Teacher Training and Career Service organized presentations by students who have gone abroad for educational internships.

UC Berkeley Signs MOU with NTNU

NTNU signed an MOU with the University of California, Berkeley. UB Berkeley will send 3 university students from the Dept. of chemistry to NTNU. This is a great opportunity for students to learn from each other academically, broaden their horizon and it’s also a good start for cooperation.
