Professor Ho Pao-chang from Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language published the lecture “Chinese Teaching Syntax Research”, talked about the features of Chinese syntax, the changes of Chinese teaching, and practical Chinese Teaching skills.
Professor Ho was an experienced professor now teaching in America Holy Cross Academic, department of modern languages and literatures. As for the Chinese teaching method, he had his own opinion. He indicated that the Chinese teaching should be divided into two groups, one for the native speakers and the other for the speakers as second language. This way, he could find out the problematic Chinese syntax.
The audiences had great reaction with Professor Ho. Through the interaction; each could get well on Chinese teaching area.
