NTNU and Shida Night Market Back-to-School Event Brings Global Traditions to Life

NTNU and the Shida Longchuan Night Market Promotion Association hosted the "Shida Longchuan Back-to-School Season" event on October 5th and 6th, focusing on "International Culture." The event featured performances by international students showcasing their native traditions, followed by a concert from NTNU’s wind band. The two-day program aimed to promote cultural exchange, drawing in local residents, students, and visitors interested in experiencing a range of global perspectives.

Foreign Students Celebrate Christmas at Magic Night of MTC

What’s so special about the magic night of MTC is that in addition to all kinds of performances, snacks, lucky draws, a reward card is given to all participants for them to collect points for MTC gifts. On the weekend before Christmas, Executive Director Chen Jenn Yeu led students caroling around the campus started from Bo Ai building. Vice President Frank Ying was attracted by their beautiful voice.

MTC student Tops at 2018 Foreign Students Chinese Public Speaking Competition

2018 Foreign Students Chinese Public Speaking Competition was held at National Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall on November 6th. Under the instruction of the teachers of MTC, 6 students out of 76 speakers receives the first prize, the third prize and 4 honorary mentions.

Christmas Party on Campus for Foreign Students

In order to enhance campus internationalization and promote cultural exchanges among international students, National Taiwan Normal University held "2017 Christmas Party - Beautiful Times, Retro Nostalgia" on the evening of December 15. It was held by Mandarin Teaching Center and the Office of International Affairs for the first time, attracting nearly a thousand foreign students flooded the auditorium.

First Thanksgiving Dinner at MTC with Food from Hometown

The fourth Thursday of November is Thanksgiving, one of the important holidays in western countries. On November 24th, Mandarin Training Center held a year end gathering dinner, inviting more than 80 students to eat and share their traditional food.
