NTNU Universiade Players Return in Triumph
NTNU won four gold medals, three silver medals, and three bronze medals in the Universiade this year. This was the best record ever in NTNU history. Players and couches returned in triumph on August 25th. Vice Principal Cheng Chi-fu deeply expressed congratulation. He expected students to have better result in the London Olympic next year and got the related certificate. Weight lifting player Ho Hsiao-chun, female golf player Liu Yi-chen, Female taw kwon do player Chung Chia-chia, and many other players gather together in the reception room after they came back. Vice principal Cheng Chi-fu appreciated the all the players and couches dedicated their effort to school. He encouraged students to take the courses from other departments. NTNU had ten colleges, the third rich library resources, and variety-learning environment. The chief of college of sports & recreation Chang Shao-shi mentioned that students should use the school equipment and school funds wisely. Vice principal Cheng also encouraged students to study abroad in sister school.
