NTNU Students Intern Teaching English in Japan
The teacher vacancy grew less and less through the years, being a teacher should go globalized. Kanazawa University from Japan called on NTNU on September 15th and talked about the cooperation. NTNU would send 5 students to Japan high school to intern teaching English next February. Director of English department Liang Sun-chieh emphasized that English teaching should be globalized.
Professors from Kanazawa University and the affiliated high school principal called on NTNU to plan the two weeks intern exchange plan. This would be the first time Taiwan sent students to teach English in Japan. Postgraduate students from Kanazawa once visited NTNU and had impressive memory of the English education in NTNU.
Students participated in the program indicated it was a great chance to go exchange in Japan. Taiwan was a small island; teacher should start internationalized to catch up with the time. Director Liang expected the exchange program could bring more chances to NTNU English education.
