Taiwan NTNU Design Forward to Russia
NTNU cooperated with Moscow Golden Bee, Taiwan designer special exhibition would be held next October in Moscow. September 20th, Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design chairman, the chief of Moscow Academy of Graphic Design Serge Serov was invited to NTNU. Besides making an arrangement about the exhibition, ex-vice principal Lin Pan-sung expected to sign the sister school in the future, to share the creative power.
Golden Bee: Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design was one of the four famous graphic design competitions. This year was the tenth year of the competition. The competition not only supported by the Russia designers, was also the important competition approved by International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA).
Serge Serov was invited to be the judge in the 2011 Taiwan International Student Design Competition (TISDC). He just went to the Palace Museum. He indicated that Taiwan had the complete preservation of Chinese culture. He hoped his students would have chance to study Chinese water paint in Taiwan. NTNU started to undertake International Design Competition (IDC) and TISDC by Ministry of Education since 2006. The cooperation with Golden Bee would bring the special subtropical zone design to the frozen Russia, expected to bring out something new and unique.
