Learn To Be A Good Teaching Assistant in Teaching Assistant Seminar
The seminar especially for the school teaching assistant (TA) was held at education building on October 12th. 180 teaching assistants participated in the seminar deeply learned the importance and attention of being a TA. The outstanding teaching assistants were invited to share the experiences.
In order to reinforce the teaching quality, NTNU applied and executed the teaching prominent plan by Ministry of Education recent years. Massively hired teaching assistants to assist in the large-class general courses. The Ph. D students who wanted to become a teacher could practice through being a TA.
Hung Jen-chin from center for teaching and learning development awarded the 99-year outstanding TA at the beginning of seminar. He then talked about the TA right, duty, and attitude. He indicated that TA should be the bridge between professors and students, learn from teachers and encouraged students. “Enjoy your TA experiences” said Hung. He also encouraged TA to learn with the students.
