Mandarin Teaching Center Volunteers Send the Love to Thailand
The flood struck Thailand recently and mainland Thailand was seriously destroyed. The Thailand students in Mandarin Teaching Center initiated the fund raising activity “Cheer for Thailand” from October 17th to 22nd, to send the love of Taiwan abroad.
Student from MTC Lan Su-fen indicated that the flood in Thailand had gradually spread to different cities. As a Thai studying in Taiwan, she would make her best effort to help her country. The first day of raising funds, volunteer stood in front of MTC from nine in the morning to five and repeated, “please help Thailand” in Chinese again and again.
Students in NTNU donated money to the box not only to help Thailand but also encouraged volunteers to keep up and raise more money. Besides, fund raising box and the volunteer handmade bookmarks were placed at Bo Ai building 7th floor. Different flags of different countries were placed next to it, expected students from different areas to make some efforts together.
