University of Alberta Provided Visiting Students Chance
Office of International Affairs arranged sister school University of Alberta teachers to explain the “Visiting Students Program”. Students could enhance English ability while select university courses; earn an unforgettable study abroad experience.
Canada University of Alberta Visiting Student Certificate Program was a short-term visiting students program. VSCP students could select 6 months 8 months, 10 months, or a year to study in University of Alberta. VSCP students were allowed to select open studies. While enhancing English ability, also selected other courses. The selected courses could transfer to NTNU, allowed students to complete academic degree on time.
The departments in University of Alberta currently provided open courses were department of agriculture, life science, environmental science, literature, education, library information, aboriginal research, physical education, and math technology. Un-open courses like business and engineer needed extra fee. VSCP students were not allowed to select department of law, medical, dental, or nursing. VSCP students were allowed to observe classes. The tuition fee was the half of the regular classes but no credit provided. VSCP was suitable for English as second language speakers. The selective courses and date provided a relaxed learning environment. Group of passion volunteers would assist foreign students to adjust to the Canada life.
