Studying abroad would not be a dream anymore. The second “Follow
Your Dream Across the World: International Exchange Student 100 year Forum” started from December 2nd afternoon. Many students from College of Social Science shared their applying and studying abroad experiences.
The manager of The Graduate Institute of Mass Communication Chen Bing-hung indicated that he once studied abroad as well. He encouraged students to experience different kind of life through the exchange program. Besides informing the related regulations, administrative staff Judy Yang from Office of International Affairs mentioned that NTNU provided scholarship for exchange students to apply.
As for how to apply for the exchange student, Chen Po-chen from Graduate institute of social work shared that the applying documents should combine the past experiences, showed once personality corresponded to exchange students conditions. After planning, wrote down the study plan, she indicated that going abroad was to own a different experience.
Huang Yu-chuan from Graduate Institute of Political Science went to Spain Universidade de Vigo for her exchange program. During her exchange life, she understood the features of each nation more. She felt that the life in Universidade de Vigo was completely different from life in Taiwan. Chen Pei-yu from The Graduate Institute of Mass Communication went to Korea Hanyang University for a year. She indicated that she had a lot of travel experiences to Korea, after studying in Korea and knew more about the culture; she felt that there were many things unlike what she thought. The exchange experience broadened her knowledge to Korea culture.
