NTNU department of fine arts 73-year graduated student Chen Shi-lun who was currently studying Ph. D program in NTNU and was also the director of department of visual communication design in China University of Technology, awarded iF design golden award. He designed the “Chinese Character Design Method and Secret” with his student Liu Yu-wei, turned the secrets of Chinese Character into beautiful stories.

Chen Shi-lun indicated that the western characters were mostly the sound. Therefore, Chinese characters included the image of the object. Chen Shi-lun accomplished a lot after he graduated from NTNU. He founded his own commercial company and was once awarded the TV commercial prize in the Golden Bell Awards.

Chen Shi-lun encouraged students to read more. When he was studying, he was interested in the history of arts. The books he read in university became his creative and design resources afterward. He was currently studying the Ph. D program in NTNU and his guide professor Lin Pan-sung was the senior he respected in school.
