NTNU Graduate Institute of International Human Resource Development Was Highly Approved
The “international human resource development master degree program” held by NTNU Graduate Institute of International Human Resource Development received outstanding achievement evaluation for continuously five years. This year (2012) was approved by the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) and got the first place among 17 universities.
ICDF founded the international higher education scholarship programs since 1998 to accept students from diplomatic relations countries to study master and Ph. D degree in Taiwan. ICDF also evaluated the participated department from program, software resources, students satisfaction, to activity holding. NTNU Graduate Institute of International Human Resource Development was founded in 2002 by professor Tsai Hsi-tao and participated in the program at the same year. The department had received the outstanding program for continuously five years.
The director Lai Chi-chien pointed out that the graduate institute name international was to recruit international students. All of the courses were taught in English. Currently, the students were from 16 different countries and took the class together. The classroom was like a mini United Nation. The quota of the scholarship increased from 1 to 2 a year to 12 a year so far.
The institute provided the internship chances cooperated with ICDF. Director Lai indicated that he appreciated the resources provided by NTNU and would make more improvement in the future.
