NTNU and Singapore National Institute of Education Signed Cooperation Memorandum

 NTNU Vice Principal Lin Tung Tai and Singapore National Institute of Education (NIE) director Lee Sing Kong signed the academic cooperation memorandum on July 18th. Both sides promised to work together for better education.

NIE was located in the west coast of Singapore. It was the teacher training institute in the 1950s. It combined with the physical education institute in 1991 to NIE and was the affiliated institution to Nanyang Technological University. They provided the education administration courses for principal and vice principal, professional education courses for department director, and special education courses. Unlike the classical building in NTNU, NIE campus was new and modern.
Direcor Lee Sing Kong led Teacher Education Dean Tan Oon Seng and Education Research Dean Lee Wing On to call on NTNU. NTNU Vice Principal Lin Tung Tai, Director of Office of International Affairs Chen Chiu Lan, the Dean of College of Education Chou Yu Wen, and professor Chen Hsiao Lan from Department of Education received our guests. NTNU Vice Principal Lin Tung Tai indicated that it was a pleasure to sign the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with NIE. It established the trust for further cooperation in the future. NTNU was expecting for more academic cooperation and creating better educational environment.
