Japan Kansai University Called On NTNU for Exchange Students Issue

 Japan Kansai University called on NTNU on July 23rd. Director Chen Chiu Lan from Office of International Affairs received and discussed the students affairs issue with Kansai University representatives. The school ambassadors led our guests to walk around the campus afterward. 

Japan Kansai University (かんさいだいがく) was a private university located in Suita City, Osaka, Japan. It was the Kansai Law School at first in 1886 and transformed to Kansai University in 1920. Kansai University had 13 faculties, 12 graduate institutes, and 3 special institutes. It was one of the best comprehensive universities in Japan. Over 400 thousands students had graduated from Kansai University.
The international education director of Kansai University Dr. Yuriko Kite and the international exchange student director Ms. Kanemura Juran expected to discuss the exchange student cooperation with NTNU. They had participated in the educational exhibition in Taipei and Kaohsiung. Dr. Yuriko Kite indicated that NTNU was an international university. She heard that there were a lot of exchange students from East Asia. Therefore, she encouraged students form Kansai University to exchange to NTNU. Through the memorandum of understanding signed in the past, Kansai University hoped to set up more details and provide the better environment for international student.
