Internship Course Evaluation Academic Seminar For More Complete System
The system of internship was undergoing a transformation. Many students were confused about their internship position. Did the internship students have the power of teacher? Could the students always doing trifling stuff in administrative unit learn? NTNU held the “Internship Course Evaluation Academic Seminar” on September 7th. Invited teachers and internship students to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the current internship system. Also invited scholars and experts to compare the internship system with Unites States, Singapore, and Japan. Expected to complete the internship system in Taiwan.
Administrative leader from Ministry of Education Hsu Chia Chian mentioned that the future internship system would tend to take the test first, and do the internship. For the intern student could make all the efforts on being a teacher instead of preparing for test at the same time. Leader Huang Chia Li from NTNU Office of Teacher Education and Careers Service indicated that the attitude students had in their internship could be one of the marking points. The problem was that Taiwan internship regulation was not clear enough for students to follow.
The seminar invited Professor Quint Oga Baldwin from Japan Fukuoka University of Education Department of English to share the United States internship evaluation system. Professor Lin Tzu Pin from Singapore National Institute of Education shared the digitalized internship evaluation system, provided students a platform to contact with school.
