College of Liberal Arts Conference Room Opening Ceremony
NTNU College of Liberal Arts turned the abandoned basement into the comfortable roomy space. The reconstruction started this March and the opening ceremony was held on September 18th. Department of Chinese, Department of English, Department of History, Department of Geography, Graduate Institute of Translation and Interpretation, Department of Taiwan Culture, Languages and Literature, and Graduate Institute of Taiwan History, and all the students and teachers in the school could enjoy this new cozy space.
The dean of the College of Liberal Arts Cheng Kuo Chuan indicated that the completion of the conference room was to promote more exchange and cooperation between different departments. Through the multi functions conference room, forward to the cross- field learning. Dean Chen Kuo Chuan encouraged students to register and use the space wisely.
Principal Chang Kuo En indicated that NTNU was located in the dense part of Taipei. The conference room provided teachers and students a great space to do more things. It symbolized the better future of College of Liberal Arts. The former dean of College of Liberal Arts, Professor Chen Li Kuai from Department of Chinese said that the success of the conference room construction was because of every department’s efforts. The conference room was free of charge for academic use in school. Welcome everyone to register and enjoy the new space to learn.
