“Ecology Cruise- Professor Yang En Sheng’s Ecology Painting and Stamp Design Exhibition” Opening Ceremony on the 13th of January
Chung Hwa Post Company firstly invited NTNU to hold the “Ecology Cruise- Professor Yang En Sheng’s Ecology Painting and Stamp Design Exhibition” together at the “Philately Gallery” in Postal Museum. The exhibition displayed the water color painting master Professor Yang En Sheng’s 70s paintings in 30 years and also the stamps he designed for the Chung Hwa Post Company.
Professor Yang En Sheng had been traveling around the world to observe and study the ecology and conservation. He devoted his life and soul to the ecology art creation research. Professor Yang was the pioneer of the water color painting in Taiwan. Most of the displaying works this time belonged to different collectors. It was a rare chance to see the different stage of creation in master’s life and also showed how Professor Yang En Sheng cared about Taiwan and the Earth.
Professor Yang En Sheng specialized in painting birds. He had painted for the Chung Hwa Post Company Stamps several times in the past. They were all the collections to the stamp collector.
