UIC Chinese Language Culture Center Called on NTNU Department of Chinese
Beijing Normal University- Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) called on NTNU on the 17th of January. Students and teachers from Department of Chinese received the guests. Through the seminars and lectures, both sides exchange the experiences of learning Chinese and the different culture.
UIC was established in 2005. It was the first higher education institute managed by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University. It was the first university that cooperated by the school in Mainland China and Hong Kong as well.
Professor Li Fu Min led 90 teachers and students to call on several universities in Taiwan in nine days, including NTNU and National Cheng Gung University. They visited some famous spots such as Ali Mountain and Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall.
The director of Department of Chinese Kao Chiu Feng led the students to receive the guests from China. Some students shared their life in NTNU and the traditional culture in Taiwan. UIC students indicated that they had a great impression of NTNU and left the wonderful memory here.
