Local students send love to Myanmar
Thanks to help from TECO Electronics, NTNU's Love Myanmar club (緬麗伊甸園國際志工服務隊) is showing off some of its achievements at an exhibit featuring photos, videos, and of course, the club's volunteers themselves.
Love Myanmar collects funds to provide schools in the Southeast Asian country with Chinese-language textbooks and other needs. Now in its sixth year, the club was recognized with an award for its innovation in serving the community last year. The enthusiastic volunteers plan to head back to Myanmar this summer to deliver books, stationary, and computers and to hold an instructional seminar for Chinese teachers there.
The club will also set up a stand on campus from May 13 to 17 to collect additional funds and improve the lives of others.
