NTNU students pass national teaching assessment with flying colors
An impressive 83.77% of NTNU-trained hopefuls passed the Teaching Qualifications Assessment (TQA) for kindergarten to high school levels. That's well above the national average of 59.78%.
The TQA has been administered since 2005 as a way to objectively gauge the abilities of potential teachers. The exam results were released in April.
This year, 573 candidates passed out of a total of 732 representing NTNU. On top of that, 100% of NTNU-trained candidates for special education qualifications passed their exams.
