NTNU and DDWU Art Exchange Exhibition

In order to promote the exchange of artistic creation and academic thinking between Art Taiwan and Korea, and to construct a platform for cultural exploration and communication, the Department of Fine Arts of National Taiwan Normal University and Dongduk Women's University of Korea held an Art Exchange Exhibition
From September 30th to October 15th in The-Chun Art Gallery, inviting artists from South Korea and teachers and students in the Fine Arts Department to participate.
At the opening ceremony, the Dean of the College of Arts, Lin Jun Liang said that since 2013, the Department has been working with Dongduk Women's University to carry out a series of exchanges and curations, generating sparks, and produce new artistic performance. Now that Tongde Women's University has become one of our Sister schools, exchange students will come go. "Although the exchange program has only begun in recent years, we will continue to work harder, and Taiwan is truly a beautiful place," he said. "We hope that students from South Korea can visit Taiwan more often and draw from landscape."
Teachers and students from Tongde Women's University also came to Taiwan to participate in the opening event, Dean of the College of Arts, Ms. Hong and Director Kim from the Painting Department said that they are pleased to see the two schools have a fruitful exchange of art and both praised the exhibition, hoping that both schools can continue the good interaction, and welcome NTNU students to South Korea. 
After different cultural background and historical events, different art features is thus created. This exchange exhibition bring together and reflect their understanding of the spirit and meaning of the art through interaction. Through this exhibition, we hope to sow a cultural seed and establish a platform for dialogue and connection so that the development of contemporary art in Taiwan and Korea will become more vigorous.
