Hanoi Vietnam National University visited NTNU
NTNU has had exchange activities frequently with universities in Southeast Asian countries. In addition to sharing research and education experiences, the university has also implemented the international policy of NTNU. In November 14th, the president of Vietnam National University came to NTNU with faculties. President Zhang Guoen, Dean of College of Science Chen Kun Ming, Director of the International Affairs Office of Yu Kuang Chao and Deputy Director of International Affairs Huang Chi Yu came to this meeting.
President of Vietnam's Hanoi National University, Prof. Nguyen Kim Son said that in Hanoi VNU, the development of education and humanities is quite diverse. He hopes that more exchanges activities with NTNU will be held, not only for students but even teachers and academic research teams.
President Chang said that the international students in NTNU come from more than 80 countries, which prepare NTNU as a multicultural learning space. Through future cooperation between the two sides, NTNU students could go to Vietnam to learn more about its culture and development so that the relationship between NTNU and Hanoi VNU can become stronger and deeper.
Vietnam National University of Hanoi (VNU) was founded in 1945 and it’s the only one of the two national universities in Vietnam. The main research area is advanced scientific and technological achievements, cultivating skilled young people. There are six member universities (natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, foreign languages, engineering and technology, economics and management, education), a Vietnam/Japan university and 5 Colleges, boosting rich educational resources.
